You're invited to join me in my studio for an intimate ritual to mark this seasonal transition.
As autumn deepens and the days grow shorter, we approach Samhain, a threshold between autumn and winter and a time when the veil between the worlds is said to be at its thinnest. It is a time of turning inward, of slowing down, reflecting on what has passed and making space for what is yet to come.
On Sunday 18th October we'll gather at 11:30 over tea and come together to create a collective altar where we’ll set intentions for what we'd like to honour, release or welcome. You'll then bring your intention into the making, creating your own votive object from clay using hand-building techniques, natural textures and found forms.
Your votive will be dried, glazed in one of my studio-made glazes and fired in the kiln, ready to collect approximately two weeks after our ritual.
No previous clay experience is needed.
Time: 11:30-14:00

Your finished piece will be ready for collection approximately two weeks after the workshop.
